In all my dreams before my helpless sight.
All went lame; all went blind;
Death took over as we got to the beach.
Screams, cries and yelling took over the universe.
Blood and death took over.
Hope was lost.
We all knew what was going to happen when we joined the army.
Death was never an option, but it was our destiny.
The army became our sanctuary.
One can never understand,
If only they could experience the pain l felt;
The pain my dead fellow felt maybe they could understand.
Understand, why it’s hard to share our memories from the military.
